One hears a lot about the prowess of growers of all things Peru's vast agricultural landscape. Production in The Central region of Junin is mostly centered in the vast Chanchamayo district. Our Highland Select Reserva offering comes from the Vivanco Family in San Luis de Shuaro, which has been growing coffee for many years, initially as part of a larger Palomar Valley enterprise, now fully independent and the cornerstone of the organization COOPAGRY. The average altitude of plantings is 1800 meters, and this Grade 1, select washed lot (only 50 bags of 69 kg. produced) comprises 6 distinct varietals: Gesha, Caturra, Catimor, Catuai, Obata and Tupi.
